Gourmet Dining/Night Leisure Site [Information Service TOWNMAP]
Offering select Soba and service a la carte related to Soba for 6 years on the east side of Kitashinchi, the evening district of Osaka. One signature dish for the shop, Juwari Soba (Zaru 1015 yen), made using homemade flour native to Otoineppu, Hokkaido, lets one experience the fragrant smell of the soba itself and a full flavor. Together with the Nihachi Soba, a dish that allows one to enjoy the elasticity of the noodles and smooth sensation on the throat, the menu is popular whether it's day or night.
Boasting constant popularity since opening day is the yakimiso (918 yen), buckwheat seeds on miso with duck meat and 8 types of vegetables grilled in the oven. Additionally, dishes that make the best of soba, such as Agesoba, Daikon salad (842 yen) and Sobazushi (950 yen), fill the menu. Of course, there are also dishes using ingredients outside of soba, such as beef tongue and Iwagaki oysters, complete with a wealth of drinks like regional sake from every part of the country and champagne.
There is a mature ambiance as jazz plays and the inside of the shop is divided into the wood grain textured counter and table area, seen immediately upon entry, and the private room area further inside. In private room area, there are sunken-floor kotatsu rooms enclosed in fireplaces, tatami rooms, and European-style red and green based rooms, where a meal can be enjoyed in a private space. This shop allows you to pass the time in such diverse settings -- how about making your way there?
