Avant-Garde Shop Melds with Mitsuterasuji, Boasts Authentic Cuisine Including Lobster and Foie Gras

Casual French cuisine found on Mitsuterasuji, one of the central streets in the Minami area. The shop is covered by a glass door, made so the interior can be seen from the street. In front of the shop, there is terrace seating with steels drums for tables. The shop style, together with the district and street, is quite the combination. As the name says, the shop consists of tables made for “eating while standing”. And on weekend evenings, the shop overflows with drinking clientele; a comforting way to feel the energy of Minami.

Limited Chef Specialty Dishes

Being a stand-and-eat style shop, one might imagine small dishes, often found at bars, but the cuisine comes in full portions. The chef specialty dishes include the whole live lobster (1,480 yen), featuring one live lobster (approx. 500g) grilled and served with American sauce and limited to 10 dishes per day, and the Beef Tournedos Rossini (1,280 yen), foie gras on a voluminous beef fillet served with truffle sauce and limited to 15 dishes per day.

"Happy Hour" and Plenty of Wine

Drinks start at 380 yen a glass for both white and red wines, and a collection of 40 wines start at 2200 yen for a bottle. “Happy hour” is held from Open, at 16:00, until 19:00. Draught beers, usually 480 yen, are half price, while glasses of wine, selectable from three types of both white and red, can be enjoyed at a bargain of 300 yen. A great shop whether it's your first stop of the night, one of many, or just for a glass before the last train. Take advantage of this avant-garde space in any way you like.
